Salon Etiquette

Below are list of guidelines to ensure every visit for every guest is enjoyable.

Returns and Refunds

Services:
We will gladly adjust any service you receive within one week of the original visit. Please call as soon possible to reschedule.

Please Note: we cannot guarantee our services if they have been altered at home, by another stylist or if non-recommended products have been used.

Products:
All hair care, makeup, brushes,and skin care may be returned within two weeks only if unused, unopened and in new condition. Any defective products can be exchanged within two weeks of purchase date for the same product.

Gift Certificates:
No refunds will be given for gift certificate purchases. Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash. Certificates may be transferred to another recipient or used for product purchases. Certificate must be presented for redemption.

Rescheduling and Cancelling Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, however, we recommend that you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving the salon to guarantee appointment day and time.

We understand that situations arise from time to time that may delay a scheduled service from beginning on time. Depending on the circumstance, we may not always be able to accommodate late arrival, and appointments may have to be rescheduled. Appointments are considered late fifteen minutes after scheduled time.

Please be respectful of appointments and give a minimum of 24 to 48 hours notice if cancellation / rescheduling is necessary or you could be subject to a cancellation fee depending on the service scheduled. All of Simplicity Hair Studio employees work on commission and your failure to show or give adequate notice cost the salon and your favorite stylist money.

When clients fail to call and/or show up for appointments more than three (3) times, or do not give us adequate notice, we can no longer book their appointments in advance without a non-refundable deposit. These deposits are payable by cash or credit card at the time the appointment is made. All deposits paid on kept appointments will be applied to the total due at checkout. All deposits paid on no show and cancelled appointments are forfeited.
Bridal

All bridal party packages include one trial run for the bride, no less than one week before the wedding. Any additional up styling trials for either bride or another member of her party will be charged separately.

A non refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated total will be due at time of booking to secure appointment times. Deposit will be applied to final cost.

Parties will consist of no less than four (4) guests or will be subject to additional charge.

Parties requiring more than two stylists or have more than eight guests may be subject to an additional charge.

All parties will be held during open hours, Simplicity Hair Studios and Nails will close down or extend hours for an additional fee.

We suggest our guests wax, color and spray tan no less than 24 hours prior to any scheduled events.

Deposit and signed contract due at the time of booking.

​Children in the Salon

Simplicity Hair Studio & Nail salon is a family hair salon and we love children. However, children under 13 years of age MUST NOT be left unattended in any area of the salon. If you need to bring your child with you to your appointment, please bring a quiet activity for them to work on during your visit. Many of our guests use this time as an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy peaceful relaxation, away from their own children. We recommend that you do not bring along young children (under age 6) for visits lasting more than 30 minutes, as it is difficult to expect them to be quiet and patient for longer periods of time. If you must do so, please be aware and courteous of other salon guests.

Children should not climb, stand or play on any salon equipment including chairs, benches, sinks, etc. They should not spin or pump hydraulic equipment. For their own safety, they should walk, not run through the salon. Parents will be charged the full price of repairing or replacing any damaged equipment resulting from misuse by their children. Please remember that our stylists are using very sharp scissors, clippers and other tools, as well as chemicals than can be dangerous to skin and eyes at the salon. If your child is disturbing other clients or stylists or is not acting appropriately while at the salon, you may be asked to reschedule.

Cash back will not be given on any checks, gift certificates, credit cards, debit cards or any other form of payment other than cash.

Simplicity Hair Studio Hair & Nail Salon reserves the right to refuse service to any one for any reason.
